ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A local psychologist who goes by the name of “the Hug Doctor” is singing the therapeutic praises of the hug this Valentine’s week.
Dr. Stone Kraushaar says a good, 21-second hug can help lower blood pressure, reduce stress and help your relationships.
“When you slow down on Valentine’s Day and have 20-second or longer hug with your partner, it’s epic,” he says. “I’m telling you that it’s something beyond any other hug that you’ve experienced.”
